Well, the house is getting packed and the movers are coming to haul it all away. I''m off to Maryland. Got a sweet job up there and I already have a new place. Hope to see you all around these parts. Retired life is a wonderful life.

Well Chris, you beat me to 1ST CIV DIV but let me warn you not to slow up because I am right behind you. Congrats on the retirement, I bet you look 10 years younger already. Good luck, fair winds and following seas. Make sure you keep us posted on the new location.

Boe, things are going good. If you are looking for a job, let me know. My place is always hiring ex-military. The work here is super easy. Hell, I laugh when they ask me to work a 13 hour shift. The even better part, when I work more than my normal shift, THEY PAY ME MORE!!!!! LMAO. Gotta love overtime.
If you ever make it up to Maryland, let me know.

Boe, if you are ever needing a weekend away, let me know. There's some nice beaches in the area and I have a bedroom that you could use. I consider what they have me doing being part time. Gotta love being the newbie again and not being able to do anything without someone watching you. Cake job. Weeeee.

Thermo, I am all about beaches, thanks for the invite. I was just up in Petersburg VA last week doing a tour of the battlefields with the SNCO's and Officers of my command, then on to Fredericksburg for my uncle's surprise 65th B-day party.
I do need to get up to Marland soon, I have a businees partner there that I would like to meet. Hope all is well on your end.

Boe, life is grand. Civilian life is more than I could have hoped for. Now to find a good house and I will be a pig in @#$%. You know the line. If I had know that life would be like this many years ago, I probably would not have done as long as I did. C'est la vie. having the retirement check coming in is nice. Overtime is even better, especially when they are begging you to come in. These 50 hour weeks are great. I have a ton of free time. I'm loving it. Granted, you may not recognize me as I now have longer hair and a beard. LMAO.
Ah the joys of civilian life. I love my new uniform though. Jeans and a T-shirt to work in. OH, no, not that. he he he he he
